Brian Anthony Bartkiewicz
November 3, 1945 - October 21, 2012
Brian Anthony Bartkiewicz, 66, passed away October 21, 2012. He was born in Waltham, MA but was a long time resident of Pensacola. From 1966-1969, Brian served in Vietnam with the US Coast Guard aboard the USS Sebago.
Brian was formerly employed by the Pensacola Police Department. More recently, he worked as a manager for a graphic arts company. He graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of West Florida.
Brian was a very loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed having a good time and making people laugh. He enjoyed playing golf and was a fan of the Florida Gators.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, Casimire and Emilie Bartkiewicz and his sister, Jo Ann. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Alice Fay; two daughters, Kira Dominique (Robbie) Lee and Wanda Kay (Lou) Coggin-Brogna; two grandchildren, Justin A. Lee-Bartkiewicz and Jasmine D. Lee and three brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be conducted at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South on Thursday, November 1 at 11:30 a.m. Evangelist W. Charles Miller will officiate. A half hour visitation will precede the service. Inurnment will immediately follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with US Coast Guard honors.
