HAROLD ALDEN HATZENBUEHLER
Harold Alden Hatzenbuehler, beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away December 29, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born July 25, 1925, in San Antonio, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darline and grandson Jacob.
He is survived by his sons, Mark (Sharon), Michael, Charles (Pat), Paul (Laura), Thomas (Debbie) and Bubba; daughters, April and Laura (Harvey); grandchildren Rick (Bea), Greg (Christi), Karina (Robbie), Rebekah (Ryan), Brad, Scott, Eric, Issac (Brandi), Lucas, Alexis, Dominic, Heather (Rick), Kristen (Mark), Dominique (Vanessa), Erika (Tim), Jason, Natasha (Bryan), Katrina, Kevin, Stephanie, David, Joshua (Meredith), Sarah, Matthew, Jennifer (William), Kim, Tazlyn, Amy (Matthew), Emily, Gini, Christopher and Aaron; great grandchildren Cloe, Ricky, Siva, Leif, Emrick, Sophia, Oliver, Ryleigh, Rodrick, Max, Haley, Colton, Hailey, Payton, Patrick, Vincenzo, Kaidon, Daniel, Amelia, Matthew, Abbey, Kirra, Will, Colette, Cynthia, Cortney, Rene, Jewelia, Kagen, Lilli, Avery and Joseph.
He honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard during WWII from 1943 to 1946.
He became a station installer for Bell in 1946, and went to USAA in 1975 as a PBX installer; where he later retired as a systems technician in 1984. His priorities were faith and family, balanced with hard work, humor and music; garnished with dancing, dominoes and fishing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
